We were back at the incredible Colshaw Hall. This venue is known as “The Jewel in the Crown of Cheshire wedding venues” it’s definitely a luxurious and stunning venue.

I had the absolute pleasure of chaperoning this lovely Cocker Spaniel Maya to their humans’ wedding—and they were the definition of paw-fect behaviour! 🫶✨

From a front-row seat for Maya, to photo ops, this pup was the ultimate professional (with just the right amount of tail-wagging flair) and let’s just say… they stole the show and a few hearts along the way 💍❤️🐶

💍 Wishing the you both a lifetime filled with unconditional love, loyal companionship, and all the beautiful moments that make a house a home — paw prints included. ❤️🐾

We have been up at 5AM every day. Breakfast served by 5:30. The staff (me) is exhausted. The guests? Bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, and absolutely starving. 🌞🐶

Now before anyone panics about the chaos: we’ve got a strict food policy here—everyone gets fed separately to avoid any squabbles. No food fights on my watch. 🍽️✋

Each morning I have a full crowd watching me like I’m Gordon Ramsay with a bowl of kibble. Zero chill. Maximum drool. 😂

It’s not a holiday. It’s an all-inclusive, five-star, high-intensity, tail-wagging Doggy Boot Camp.
And I’m just the overworked concierge. 😅🐾

The end of term is nigh!

This chaperone was for special guest @pudding_thecavapoochon . Chloe & Rhys booked us to look after pudding overnight, bring her to the wedding to greet guests, and have some photos afterwards 💘

Our Cheshire Dog Lady Hotel in Shavington is back open 💥

Sue is back from her long winter break and back open. June is already fully booked and we have very limited spaces already for July, August and September!

If your new to following us, and didn’t know ! We have had a second house licensed for the last 3yrs which is Sue’s home in Shavington, just 3 miles from CDL HQ. When Sue retired a few years ago she decided to join the CDL team and open up her home to dogs for their holiday’s. Me and Sue have worked together for many years as prior to CDL we worked for Cheshire east together. Sue was in fact my Manager! We have also been best friends for many years.

Sue’s home setting is quiter than Wistason HQ with a license for 4 dogs. She has a huge garden and is next to acres of fields. It’s a gorgeous place for your dogs to stay. Sue does only take small to medium breeds and all boys must be neutered.

I know Sue’s regular doggies are very happy to see her back open and have secured there spaces for the next few months 🌟

Here at CDL we recognise that senior dogs will have unique needs and may require more individualised care than younger dogs. Which includes considerations for their individual needs and limitations. When we have a senior dog staying with us it will involve quieter and shorter playtimes, shorter walks, modified enrichment activities, and close observations to ensure their safety and well-being.

Here is one of senior guests Ming Ming, not only is she a senior dog, but only has one eye with very limited vision now. Also limited hearing 🥹 therefore she has a different care plan to the other dogs here.

Another amazing chaperone. If you’re looking for something a little different this is your venue. The party barn is a modern, contemporary barn featuring a mix of enchanting, and stylish design.

I just want to say what an honor this chaperone was. Dean is a huge wedding supplier across the wedding industry as he owns @dsfloralstudio . So he was only ever going to pick the best of the best in suppliers for his own wedding. So thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

At this chaperone Harley was booked to stay overnight with me across 3 nights, was there to greet the guests, and have some photos afterwards.

This chaperone was a secret mission. None of the guests knew @_boo_thecavapoo was coming! I was at another wedding team member Lucy was hiding in the car with Boo waiting for everyone to go into the church. The service was at the beautiful St John’s church in Sandbach Heath before heading off to @larkspurlodge .

Victoria booked us to look after Boo overnight, bring her to the wedding secretly, Boo then entered as a surprise and was the ring bearer and have some photos afterwards 💘
